Dear Faredah and your family,
My husband, Bok-Dong and I send our deepest condolences to you and your family. Your husband and father will be sorely missed at New Life Church, and the rest of the public, in which he served!
May he rest in peace, and may God continue to bless and comfort you during this difficult time.
With warm Aloha,

Although unfortunately I will not be able to attend Representative Ward´s memorial service at King´s Chapel on Monday, I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation for Gene´s stellar and sustained advocacy and support for Hawaii´s space adventures during his tenure with the Hawaii State Legislature. His truly inspiring and perpetual leadership enabled Hawaii´s aerospace office to "reach for the stars" - literally! - and provided most informative and creative avenues to help engage our State with pioneering space enterprise worldwide. Our common experiences engaging with the Peace Corps were also most memorable, and further underscored Gene´s truly insightful and compassionate disposition as he continued to pioneer most creative and truly promising ventures for our State, our Nation, and indeed all of humanity. Memories of these stellar and truly inspiring achievements will live on!
With Aloha,
Jim Crisafulli, President
