Jerry and I were roommates while assigned to the 405th Munitions Maintenance Squadron, Clark Air Base, Philippines! I only knew him a few short months, but our friendship endured to this time! Although, we hadn't seen or talked for several decades, once we connected again, we easily picked up again where we left off, which amazed my wife! I told her it's a Military Brotherhood Thing!
We often talked for hours about our military experiences from when we served together, and about our military experiences up until both our retirements! There was a lot of catching up to do! We planned on seeing Jerry once again on our next visit to Hawaii...We Still Will! Jerry loved his family, and talked about them often, while his favorite musical oldies played in the background while enjoying a beer! His Love for his beloved wife, Joanne, continuously burned in his heart, and in his mind since her passing in 2015! Jerry and Joann are once together, embraced by God's Everlasting Love!
I will miss our long conversations Brother!

One of many poignant memories that remains etched in our minds is Gerry's remarkable leadership during a morale rally following a major inspection. His command presence, coupled with his words of encouragement and relentless positivity, inspired confidence in us all. Under his guidance, we rallied together as a unified force, fortified by the knowledge that we could overcome any challenge together.
