In Loving Memory of GILDA H. MINASSIAN (November 23, 1957 - January 24, 2024) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Gilda H. Minassian, who departed this world on January 24, 2024, at the age of 66. Gilda was a beacon of love, warmth, and strength, touching the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Gilda is survived by her devoted husband, Edward Mehrabian-Sani, her loving son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Cherie Mehrabian-Sani, and her adoring grandsons, Alec and Noah Mehrabian-Sani. She is also survived by her dear sister, Peggy Worthington, and her beloved mother, Irma Minassian. Gilda's family was the center of her universe, and she cherished every moment spent with them. A true entrepreneur and visionary, Gilda was the proud owner of Calista, a renowned dress shop located at Kahala Mall. For over 40 years, Gilda poured her heart and soul into her business, transforming it into a haven where women could not only find beautiful attire but also discover their inner radiance. To Gilda, "Calista" was more than just a nameit symbolized the essence of femininity, grace, and empowerment. Gilda's passion for her work was matched only by her boundless love for her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a doting grandmother, finding joy in the simple moments spent together. Gilda's infectious laughter, unwavering kindness, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In her final moments, Gilda was surrounded by her beloved family, finding comfort in their embrace as she peacefully transitioned from this life. Though she may no longer walk among us, Gilda's legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who were touched by her presence. A celebration of Gilda's life will be held on Wednesday, March 6th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at Diamond Head Mortuary. Services are open to the public, as we come together to honor and remember the beautiful soul that was Gilda H. Minassian. Rest in peace, dear Gilda.
