GLEN CANCINO Obituary

GLEN LING SIU CANCINO Glen Ling Siu Cancino, age 73, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at home. He was born on November 11, 1951. He was a proud graduate of Farrington High School. He retired from the Honolulu Police Department as a highly respected Sergeant/Detective on December 30, 2000. As a retiree, Glen found a new passion as a security guard and watch technician at Kakesako Brothers for many years. Then, in 2008, he joined Margie's Jewelers, and worked for her for over 16 years, until his passing. He is preceded in death by his parents, Emily and Pedro "Ted" Cancino, brother Gilbert Cancino, and sister Grenda Cancino. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia "Cindy" Ikeda, daughter Tobie Cancino, sister Gale Cancino, Cindy's son and daughter, three nieces, two nephews and one grand niece. Services will be at Mililani Mortuary Downtown at 20 S. Kukui Street, Honolulu, HI 96813, on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Visitation begins at 9:00 am, with services starting at 10:00 am. Refreshments to follow. Burial will be at Diamond Head Memorial Park, 529 18th Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96816, at 12:30 pm.
