Aunty Gloria is one of the warmest, most loving, and caring individuals I had the pleasure of knowing in my childhood. It was always one of my Sunday goals at church to find her in front of Halawa Chapel, sitting on the bench next to the Juniper Shrub that grew into a tree, as she waited for her ride home. Her smile and warm interactions with me are vivid and everlasting in my memory.

I was really young when she was my Sunday School teacher in the Hawaii Kai Primary. The Shiraki family moved to another part of town, but I have always remembered her Christ-like service and her countenance. She was always happy and ready to serve. She will be dearly missed. Until we meet again...

I have always felt so very blessed to know
Gloria and enjoyed serving with her in the
Aliamanu ward Young Women´s program .
She was an amazing spiritual anchor for us.
Gloria emulated the love of our Savior always.
She left an example for us to live up to and
Gloria´s memory will always warm my heart.

I served under the leadership of Gloria in the Relief Society organization and she was a such a beautiful and caring leader. She always thought of others, and served with her heart. Even after the change in leadership, she would always call and check on me and my family. She'll be missed tremendously! Thank you Gloria for being so kind and loving and teaching me what Christ like leadership looks and feels like.

What I will remember most about Gloria was her ability to make everyone feel accepted and welcome, the warmth of her smile, her infectious laugh, her charitable spirit, and her love of God. Our family was on the receiving end of her love many times.
We will miss you Gloria.

I was blessed to interact with Gloria on many occasions. She was an ambassador of truth and goodwill to everyone. She will ever continue on with a heart of gold - one full of nothing but sweetness, genuine caring, and an abundance of charity. ...but rest assured she is at peace now. Gloria will continue the work she has done here to bring glory to the great Creator of earth and all that we know. I hope to be able to work often with her again.
