Gregorio Calairo Obituary

GREGORIO GUILLERMO CALAIRO JR., BULLA Greg 'Bulla' Calairo was born to Gorio Sr. and Clara Reyes Calairo of Kaunakakai, Molokai Hawaii. He was the second of seven children. Siblings are Corinne Young (late Charles Young Jr.), Rufina Solomon (James Solomon), Audwin Calairo (Sammi), Kervin Calairo (Loke Rawlins), Dino Calairo (Ella Nakagawa) and Clarita Maikui (Richard). Along with his siblings, he had many nephew's and nieces, whom all, he helped raise with his partner Carlton Shito of 23 years. Cousins and close friends were all considered immediate family that he cherished and loved so dearly. Bulla began his career in November 1976 as a key punch operator at FBIHQ and lived in Virginia. He sacrificed being away from family and anticipated coming home to Hawaii. In August 1982, he transferred to Honolulu and held a series of professional staff positions before being promoted to Office Services Supervisor. He retired in 2017, after serving 40 years with the FBI. He is missed and loved by many and will never be forgotten. His love for family and friends were so unique that he made each and everyone feel that they are the most important. He would always say 'I LUV YOU MORE'. The Celebration of Life for "Bulla" will be held on July 1, 2023 at Mitchell Pauole Center, Kaunakakai, Molokai, Hawaii. 8am-9 For Family. 9am-10 Public. 10am-12 Service. 12-till Pau- Lunch and Entertainment.
