Henry Saunders McCoy, Jr. Obituary

HENRY HANK SAUNDERS MCCOY, JR. Henry S. McCoy, Jr. died peacefully in Las Cruces, New Mexico on December 9, 2023. Born in New York, Henry was a Boy Scout leader, aviation enthusiast and lifeguard. He graduated from the Academy of Aeronautics in New York before enlisting in the Navy and serving in Vietnam. He moved to Hawaii in 1968 and later worked at IBM for 30 years. He was a lifelong ham radio operator, avid sailor and diver. He is survived by his wife of 53-years Susan N. McCoy; his children Shawna Sherman (Yaniv) and Marcus McCoy (Cindy); grandchildren: Natasha, Alexis, Henry and Jayla. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at 4 p.m. at the Kuapa Isle Clubhouse in Hawaii Kai. Arrangements Provided By: La Paz-Graham
