Herbert Chang Obituary

HERBERT KONG YEU CHANG Herbert Kong Yeu Chang, 94, of Honolulu, an Air Force veteran and retiree of the Hawai'i Newspaper Agency, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on January 25, 2026. He was born on March 16, 1931, in Honolulu, Hawai'i. Herbert is survived by his wife, Jeanora (Chun); daughters Denise Chang (Janna Mizuo), Donna (Marc) Eremian, and Darlene Espiritu (Donald, predeceased); son Garret; sister Marilyn (Lloyd) Ching; and brother Albert (Joan) Chang. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Kam Hon and Mildred (Ma) Chang; sister Hilda (Francis) Kop; and brother Robert (Nancy) Chang. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary.
