Hidemi Tsutsui Obituary

HIDEMI TSUTSUI 102, passed away peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by family, on January 4, 2026. Hidemi was a former pastor of `Ewa Community Church, Waialua United Church of Christ, Kalihi Union Church, Lakeside Japanese Christian Church in Chicago, and Oceanview Church in San Diego. He is survived by daughters Jeanne (Eric), Julie (Scott), and Jodene (Glenn), 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Hidemi will be remembered for being a man of prayer, wisdom, and faith. He will also be remembered for his love for Jesus and the Gospel, his wife Judy of 52 years, his family and friends, golf (with a hole-in-one!), and UH Warrior Football. The Celebration of Hidemi's Life will be held at Kalihi Union Church on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Visitation 10am. Service 11am. No flowers please. Arrangements Provided By: Oahu Mortuary
