Antoinette - Thank you so much for your memories of Ilene. Yes, you are correct - it is the same Ilene! I became friends with her in 2007 when we both worked in the same State department. She did love Hawaii! On occasion she spoke of you and her trip to Hawaii and when she moved here in 1969. In 2019, we celebrated her 50th anniversary moving to Hawaii at our favorite restaurant, Morton's Steakhouse!

Not sure if this is the same Ilene that I use to work with at Royal Globe Insurance Company in East Orange, NJ.
We took a trip to Las Vegas, California and Hawaii in 1968.
We had a great time on that trip. She use to live in Apts. in Union NJ. She loved Hawaii so much, she decided to pack up and move there the following year. We lost contact with each other after her move, but many times I have talked about that trip to my children and grandkids and the fun we had and the people we met.
So if this is you my dear friend rest in peace, and God speed.
