Irene Oficial Obituary

Remembering a remarkable lady that my husband and I were lucky to randomly meet on our way to the airport in Las Vegas in Spring of 2022. We kept in touch by phone and text through the Spring of 2024. Irene was truly an interesting and funny woman living life to the fullest. We are so glad to have had Irene cross paths with our lives. In 2022, my husband, Mike and I met an incredible lady named Irene in Las Vegas as we all were waiting for our shuttle ride to the airport. The shuttle transportation never arrived. As time was ticking away, we hailed an uber driver in the immediate area for a ride to the airport. We insisted that Irene join us on the ride. It was the beginning of a friendship from the coast of Maine to Hawaii. She was a joy to get to know on our ride and afterwards via a phone call to check on her. We exchanged many many texts over the years. She sent us calendars with pictures of her beautiful state. We consider ourselves very lucky to have met her by chance on that very early morning at the Four Queens waiting for our ride. She was such an interesting woman and fun to talk to. She talked with such fondness of her family. We want to express our deepest condolance to Irene' s family and friends on their sad loss. The world was so fortunate to have this wonderful women among us. Rest in peace Irene...you were amazing xoxo. Susan Prisco
