JACK H. SCAFF, JR., M.D., F.A.C.S.M. 05/27/1935 09/26/2022 With your communication and organizational skills you guided others to "think outside the box" resolving to change lives. You did! Who would dream of teaching a newly recovered heart attack victim to exercise, much less train him to run a marathon! But you went on to train thousands of "so-called normals" to do it. Now they've become volunteers to carry on your work with the Honolulu Marathon Clinic training others (for free) to be fit and perhaps to also run a marathon. To my life-long love, friend, and favorite cardiologist whose exuberance and penchant for fun and pizzazz created an unforgettable life of challenges, adventure and fun for Kawika and me, thank you!
