I knew James through his volunteering at the Waikiki Aquarium. A true gentleman, always polite, pleasant and courteous. Although I haven't seen him for 20 years, I remember him well and the chats we had, such was his persona. My sincerest condolences to the Poorbaugh family for their sad loss.
