James Siu Obituary

JAMES KWONG MUN SIU Age 94, passed on January 24, 2024, at the Queen's Medical Center. The youngest of the seven children of Chin Tai Siu and Shee Lee (Sin Cook) Siu. He graduated from St. Louis School, then earned his bachelor's and master's degrees and had a 55-year-long career as Associate Professor of Mathematics at the University of Hawaii Manoa. Pre-deceased by sister, Beatrice Chock, and brothers, Alfred (Marjorie) Siu, Kwong Yin (Kay) Siu, Edward Siu, Father Robert Siu, and Arthur Siu. He is survived by sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Edward) Siu and Daphne (Arthur) Siu, nieces and nephews. His celebration of life and mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Wilder Avenue on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 10:00 am. Private inurnment will be at Diamond Head Memorial Park.
