May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Sakihara-sensei taught me how to put on kimono. Our students were blessed for many years because she dressed them with beautiful kimono. I truly appreciate what she has done for us. Thank you, Sakihara-sensei.

My sincere condolences to daughter Mana, and family. Mrs. Sakihara was an excellent teacher in an experimental intensive four-years-in-one Japanese language course in the 1970s. She taught the first semester, equivalent to first and second year Japanese, giving her students a good foundation to build on, and encouraging them to continue their study.
