JEANETTE PANG Obituary

JEANETTE MEI LING PANG Jeanette Mei Ling Pang was born on September 15, 1937. She went on to be with her Lord on May 9, 2025, at the age of 87. Jeanette was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. Jeanette was a 1955 graduate of Roosevelt High School. She attended San Jose State College in California and earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in education, majoring in Home Economics. Jeanette was an avid homemaker, painter, jeweler, and realtor. Her real estate experience began in San Jose, and when the family moved back to Hawaii, she worked first at Betty Wilson Realty and then at Del Osman Realty. As a believer in Jesus, Jeanette attended St. Francis Church (San Jose), St. Peter's Church, First Presbyterian Church, and City Church. She is preceded by her parents, Edward and Margaret Lau, her husband, Linuce "Hunky" Pang, her brother Gordon Lau, and son, Randall Pang. She is survived by her brothers Ronald Lau (and Simmy) and Earl Lau (and Maylene), her sons Laeton (and Lena) Pang and Bryan (and Mei) Pang, her grandchildren Cortney, Mark, Ashley, Joseph, and Annaliese Pang, and several nieces and nephews. Her burial will be on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 8:30 am at Nuuanu Memorial Park, followed by both a 10:00 am family visitation and a 10:30 am celebration service at Borthwick Mortuary. In lieu of gifts, the family requests donations be made on her behalf to any of the following charities: the Alzheimer's Association, Hope Center Ministries Kailua, River of Life, and the Sand Island Treatment Center.
