Jeanne Yaguchi Obituary

JEANNE H. YAGUCHI Jeanne H. Yaguchi, of Pearl City, beloved mother, sister, cousin and aunty- passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, at the age of 87. Born in August 1938 in Kilauea, Kaua'i, Jeanne dedicated over 30 years as an elementary school teacher, most of that time at Palisades Elementary School, from where she retired. As the eldest cousin, Jeanne made caring for family a priority, faithfully carrying on family traditions and ensuring everyone stayed close. Her love of ikebana, playing mahjong, watching sports, and travel allowed her to remain connected with her dear friends and family. She is survived by daughter Tammy; twin brothers Gary (Flo) Motoyama and Ray (Mariko) Motoyama. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifton Yaguchi, and her brother Erwin Motoyama. A memorial service to celebrate Jeanne's life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am. Service to follow at 10:00 am.
