My heart felt condolences to Jocelyn´s family. I am grateful she knew & loved the Lord ... she is now in peace and in the best of care with our Lord Jesus.
We grew up in the same camp and attended school together. Jocelyn was always the smartest in our class and often tried to help me understand the math problems that I never fully got!
She was blessed in intelligence, talent and athleticism. Everything she did, she excelled in and I always admired her for it. She continues to be a brave warrior for the Lord in Heaven. PTL

I just found out about Jocelyn´s passing. My sympathies to all her family and friends. My recollection of Jocelyn began in Keaau elementary kindergarten in Mrs Ueno´ s class. It was art time and she was on the other side of the easel. We were told to paint a picture of a boat . I drew something that looked like a cavemen hieroglyphics. I thought it looked ok , I looked around the easel and Jocelyn had painted a ship that was docked at Hilo wharf. It had depth, color ,sky, water. Even as a 5 year old I was impressed. In later years she showed her intelligence in art, music, math etc. she was an avid athlete, as good at throwing a softball or shooting baskets, or running races better any of us in elementary school. I remember being in one of her social studies class in high school, we had some research paper due in Mr. Kawahara´s class. She started writing her paper at the start of class and by the end she had finished, turned it in and we saw she had A grade on it. Needless to say I´ve never met another person as intelligent or skilled as her. I haven´t seen or talked to her since high school , but I´m sure she amazed everyone with her intelligent and athleticism. Again my sincere sympathies to her family.
