My Mother and I are very sorry to have discovered that Mr. Silva passed away. The Silva family were close family friends and I have fond memories when they stayed with us at our home in California. I also remember their house here in California. My parents also saw the Silva's when they visited Hawaii. Mom and I send our Love and condolences to Irene his wife, Suzanne his daughter, James, Steve and Todd his sons as well as other family and friends. Rest in Peace Mr. Silva and may God bless you and your family

My heart and prayers go out to my ohana who lost a wonderful husband and father, a secure anchor through the many storms of their lives. The echoes of his voice and the love he had for Auntie Irene and my wonderful cousins, Susan, James, Steven, and Brian are etched in my thoughts as I write this tearfully. Uncle John will be missed but not forgotten. Until we see him again, He aloha o Iehova ke Akua!
