I just learned of Johnston's passing, and I am sorry for the loss of such a wonderful person. I met Johnston at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard while he was a new Mechanical Engineer during the mid-1980's. I remember Johnston because he was a soft-spoken person and he told me that he had come from China. I had the pleasure of working with him on several projects. It has been over 40 years ago but I still remember him, and he will never be forgotten.
