In Loving Memory: 10th Death Anniversary of DR. JORGE CAMARA May 21, 1950 - August 28, 2013 On Monday, August 28, we will gather to honor the 10th anniversary of Dr. Jorge Camara's passing. We have arranged a mass at the Star of the Sea Church at 5:30 pm, followed by a catered dinner in the church's Social Hall. Particularly striking was his creative use of live piano performances to soothe patients before surgery, a testament to his unwavering devotion to the well-being of his patients and his profound belief in the healing capabilities of music. For those fortunate to have known Dr. Camara, whether, through an appreciation for music or even a fleeting moment at the piano, his memory lingers strongly. His vibrant energy, overwhelming generosity, and spirited enthusiasm have left a lasting mark on all those lucky to have crossed his path.
