Joe was a very old friend of mine, starting on Maui about 1953 or so. He went to Maui High School with a cousin of mine, Linda Boteilho. We were in Civil Air Patrol together, and also on their marching drill team. We also were members of the Hawaii Air National guard on Oahu. He was a fine man a will surely be missed... Jim Andrade
