Kalani was a true joy to work alongside of. I met him working in the kitchen at the Chart House in Kane'ohe. He always had a funny, sarcastic greeting when I arrived, something I would come to love as I got to know him through the years. We would get into all kinds of antics during our shift. Hiding from the boss in the downstairs freezer, eating mud pies while no one was watching. So good fun with that guy! Kalani was genuine, uplifting, easy to be around.
My prayers for peace and comfort during this time of grief and loss are lifted up to our Heavenly Father.
