KAMUELA CHRISTIAN VON HASSELL MARTIN November 8, 1989 - October 16, 2025 Kamuela Christian von Hassell Martin, age 35, of Dickson, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025, in Dickson at Horizon Medical Center. Born on November 8, 1989, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Christina Hassell and Watters Martin, Jr., Kamuela devoted his life to service and compassion. He worked as a property manager at New Beginning LLC in Dickson, Tennessee, but his impact extended far beyond his job title. Kamuela was a dedicated mentor and a guiding light for many in the recovery community not only in Dickson, but across a wide reach. Though Kamuela made his home in Tennessee for much of his life, he returned often to his family home in Honolulu. His heart reflected the warmth and vibrancy of his island roots, and he carried the Aloha spirit wherever he went. He had a tremendous love for traveling and discovering new places, and he found joy in collecting watches and customizing and modifying cars. Being "the cool uncle" to every kid who knew him, Kamuela had a gift for making people crack up with laughter and feel loved. He will be remembered for his deep loyalty, constant laughter, and passion for helping others. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to your favorite charity in memory of Kamuela.
