KATHLEEN H. KAGAWA It is with profound sadness that we share the news of Kathleen H. Kagawa's passing on July 26th, 2025, in Tokyo, Japan, at the age of 73. Kathie was truly an extraordinary woman whose accomplishments were vast and impactful. Among her many achievements, Kathie founded Hawaii 5-0 Properties, Inc. in 1989, served on the board of Hawaii Employers Mutual Insurance Company and was appointed by the Governor to the HEMIC Oversight Council. She also held roles as a State of Hawaii Real Estate Commissioner, a bonded mortgage broker, and a University of Hawaii Foundation Trustee. For many decades, she proudly served as the Hawaii state representative for the President's National Prayer Breakfast in Washington D.C. Beyond her remarkable professional life, Kathie was an inspiration to all who knew her. She embraced everyone with love and made them feel like family. We miss you so much. Until we meet again.
