Kay Allen Obituary

KAY LINDEMANN ALLEN Kay, our 80 year old Mu'umu'u wearing electric wheelchair wheeling Christmas loving sweet Grandma, quietly passed away at home in Manoa on Oct 25, 2025. Preceded by Husband Richard (2024), loved Manoa, even working as Cafeteria Lady at Manoa Elementary School while her children Kathy-Lyn (AJ, Kaylee 14, Andrew 12) Pacheco of NM and Jon "JR" (Janelle, Jordyn 12) Allen were attending. Kay's debilitating stroke 22 years ago left her confined to a wheelchair which she used to stroll through her life. Her love for reading and cats, which she passed down to Jordyn, granddaughter, filled her days. Kay was a c/o '63 graduate of Roosevelt HS, lifelong member of Central Union Church, and super donor of the Blood Bank of HI. Kay and brother Bill Lindemann (decd. 1/3/2026), lost their father Honolulu Police Reserve Officer Ernest Lindemann who was killed in the line of duty Oct. 30, 1969. Grandma Kay we'll miss you.
