Keith Hayashi Obituary

KEITH KYOICHI HAYASHI 56, was born on July 21,1967 in Honolulu. He died on August 25, 2023. He is survived by his wife Jeong Hayashi and daughters, Kaylee and Karla and parents Gary and Beryl Hayashi. Keith graduated from Kalani High School and the University of Hawaii with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After brief employment at Pearl Harbor as a Nuclear Engineer, he attended and graduated from Santa Clara Law School where he was technical editor of the Santa Clara Law Review. He became a member of the Hawaii Bar in October, 1995 and began his clerkship at the Hawaii Supreme Court under the late Associate Justice Mario Ramil. Keith was employed by Herbert Chock and Associates as a construction consultant. Prior to marriage and children Keith golfed, loved deep sea fishing, wild pig hunting and whatever else interested him. He pursued life with a passion. Keith loved his job. He was a humorous person and a jokester. He actively pursued new interests professionally and activities which he could do with Kaylee and Karla. His biggest joy was time with his family, especially his daughters. Service will be held at Nuuanu Memorial Park and Mortuary, on Saturday, October 14, 2023, with visitation at 5:00pm and services at 6:00 pm.
