Kenneth Nakasone Obituary

KENNETH HAJIME NAKASONE 82, passed away peacefully on Oct. 19, 2023. He was born and raised in Puunene, Maui, the son of Paul and Clara Nakasone. He was an outstanding swimmer in his youth and was a member of Indiana University's swim team from 1959 to 1963. He was employed by Nordstrom Hawaii for many years and retired from Macy's Hawaii in 2020. He is survived by his wife, Sandra, daughter Sara Denckhoff (Michael) of St. Louis, Mo. and four grandchildren, Grace, John, Libby and Joshua. Also, brother, Donald Nakasone (Lorna) of Honolulu and sister, Betty Tengan (Herbert) of California and several aunties and uncles, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Services at Hosai Garden Mortuary on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Visitation 5-6PM. Service at 6PM. Arrangements Provided By: Hosoi Garden Mortuary
