I RECALL MANY DAYS WHICH I SPENT AT HIS HOME, BEFORE AND AFTER HIS MARRIAGE TO PATSY. THEY HAD A HUGE GARDEN AND A LARGE GUAVA TREE IN THEIR YARD. AND WHAT A VIEW OF MAUI THEY HAD FROM THEIR DINING ROOM TO OVERSEE HALF OF MAUI TO KAHULUI.. RIP, LOLLI POP!!

I will remember Mr. Fernandez leaning on his fence, waving to everyone who drove up or down Olinda road in Makawao. He brought aloha, and a smile to those who drove past. He is missed.
