Larry was my dentist and friend for close to 40 years. I started seeing him as my dentist in 1982 at his Mililani office and he remained my dentist until he retired and sold his business (McGraw, Bellanca & Perrino). The office still bears his name today. I always jokingly called him TUG (as a joke because he was a dentist, and a reference to country singer Tim McGraw's famous baseball playing father TUG McGraw) and he jokingly called me CHIP (he once repaired a front tooth that I had chipped on a beer bottle. I was amazed when I went in for that appt he immediately said, "Chipped it on beer bottle?" I laughed so hard and said, "How the heck did you know that?" He just flashed his big signature smile.
RIP TUG! YOU'LL BE MISSED BY ME AND MANY OTHERS, OF THAT I'M CERTAIN. MAY GOD KEEP YOU ALWAYS. THE WORLD'S LOSS IS HEAVEN'S GAIN FOR THE WORLD IS A LITTLE LESS WITH YOU GONE.

I just got wind off Larry's passing today, Aug. 8th at around 11pm. My wife found the info on FB and fwd it to my phone. Larry (aka TUG.. I called him that ever since I started seeing him as my dentist when I was discharged from the navy at the age of 22. I'm now 65 and TUG was my dentist right up until he retired and sold his business. He was instrumental in hooking me up/introducing me with my current dentist as he was Larry's dentist at the time. TUG was a great dentist and a noble, good hearted man. I regret not having been made aware of his passing sooner so I could've attended his service and paid my respect. The sign on the front of his old office in Mililani still bears his name (McGraw, Bellanca & Perrino.. though I'm not positive the latter name is still there.) RIP TUG. YOU WILL BE MISSED BY ME AND MANY OTHERS, OF THAT IM CERTAIN. MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU ALWAYS.
With sincere respect,
