We have just learned of Aunty Lei's passing. Our hearts go out to all of her family as she was a gracious and kind person. Aunty Lei's halau blessed us with an opening performance for our Compassionate Friends conference in 2023 at the Ala Moana Hotel.
Aunty Lei and her halau were planning on performing our opening conference in March 2026. Our Compassionate Friends non-profit serves people who lost children and siblings, and her beautiful halau gave it a special touch to the start of our conference which that meant so much to many of the participants. Her presence will be missed at our upcoming conference. Aloha Aunty Lei.
