LOIS KOBAYASHI Obituary

LOIS FUJIKO KOBAYASHI October 6, 1930 August 16, 2025 Honolulu, Hawai'i Lois Fujiko Kobayashi, 94, of Honolulu, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2025. Lois dedicated over 30 years of service to AAFES before retiring in November 1989. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a friend to many. Married for 64 wonderful years to her beloved husband, Walter, Lois' life was centered on love, family, and togetherness. Her greatest joys were traveling, playing games with the grandchildren, and spending time with her family. Lois never missed a school performance, sporting event, or milestone in the lives of her children and grandchildrenshe was always their biggest supporter and constant source of encouragement. She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia (Michael) Wo and Naomi (Dr. Michael) Mihara; grandchildren Kristen (Andrew) Beck, Kimberly (Damian) Pherigo, Kelsey (Andrew) Han, Staci Anne Mihara, and Christopher Mihara; and great-grandchildren Lucas and Noah Pherigo, and Olivia and James Beck. Lois is now reunited with her beloved husband and best friend, Walter. Her love, kindness, and gentle spirit will live on in all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Private services were held on September 19, 2025.
