Lowell Nagaue Obituary

LOWELL TOMOYOSHI NAGAUE, CPA 76, peacefully passed away on June 18, 2024. He was born in Honolulu, to Katsuto and June Nagaue on January 26, 1948. He attended `Iolani Lower School, Stevenson Middle School, and Roosevelt High School ('65) and the University of Hawaii ('69), then enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves. After passing his CPA exam he joined his father's accounting firm and, together, they formed Nagaue & Nagaue, CPAs, Inc. in 1972. Lowell is survived by his wife, Joy Ann, his children Gavin and Jill Ann Ibi (Alexander), grandchildren, Chloe Ann and Connor Ibi, brother, Nelson Nagaue, and sister, Beverlyn Nagaue, nieces and nephews, cousins, grand aunt and the family dog, Kumo. He will be remembered for his friendliness, kindness, generosity, and sense of humor. He wanted to make sure everyone around him was as happy as he was. Celebration of his life: visitation 10 a.m. and service 11 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Diamond Head Mortuary. Arrangements Provided By: Diamond Head Mortuary Chapel
