LOWELL NAPUELUA Lowell "Low" Napuelua, was born on October 21, 1950, in Honolulu, to Liwai Sr. & Reverend Almar Napuelua. On August 2, 2023, at the age of 72, surrounded by his family, Low passed from this earthly life into his heavenly homecoming. Lowell was a retired Security Supervisor at Sheraton Waikiki Hotel, dedicating 32 years of his life to his career. A man of strong faith, he was a lifelong member of Ekalesia O Ka Makua Mau Loa. He served as the loyal Ho'omana O Ke Akua Ola Sergeant-of-Arms, a faithful Deacon and contributing member of Ahahui O Na Makuakane. In his free time, Lowell was actively involved in the Oahu Pop Warner as a Board of Director for 30 years, serving in various positions. He had a passion for supporting youth sports and was committed to the development of young athletes in football, baseball, basketball and volleyball. Lowell was a faithful, generous, loving and kind-hearted husband of 54 years to his wife, Lillian Ululani Kahaulelio Parker Napuelua. He cherished his children: Candice "Kalei" ('Alohi), Lowell "Loboy" Jr., Christine (Andrew), Lawson (Kehau) and Casey. Lowell was a proud Papa to his mo'opuna: Noelani (Mikey), Keaka (Nishalei), Kuanoni (Ryan), Kapeka, Kaleialoha, Malu (Kyle), Kolonahe, Kiliohu (Kelvin), Kana'i (Riley), Hala'i, Kealohi and Kealaula. He absolutely delighted as a Tutu Man to his mo'opuna kuakahi: Kule'aika'oli'oliokalani, Ho'opai'iku'upolimeka'oli'olimaikalani, Kala'ikuikalokomaika'i and Kekamakupa'aikeli'ialoha. Lowell is also survived by his 100-year-old mother, Reverend Almar Napuelua and his sisters: Sheila (Robert), Sharlene, Sheena (Simbre), devoted sister-in-law, Victoria Napuelua and adored brother-in-law, Henry Pali, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Liwai Napuelua Sr., his brother, Liwai Napuelua Jr., and his sisters, Sherlet Tavares, Sharon Bodine and Sherilyn Pali. Celebration of Life Services will be held at Mililani Mortuary, Mauka Chapel, on Friday, October 20, 2023. Visitation: 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.; Services: 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Dinner will be served after the services in the adjacent hall with continued visitation until 8:30 p.m. Private Inurnment at a later date.
