LUCILE FRANCIS DAVIS DRUMHELLER, MIMI Lucile Francis Davis Drumheller, "Mimi", 96, of Alpharetta, Georgia, June 22, 1929 - September 20, 2025 Lucile passed away peacefully 20 Sep 2025. Born in Galax, Virginia, Lucile was the beloved daughter of Elmer Ray Davis and Nannie Lee Cox. She graduated from high school in 1946 and pursued higher education before marrying her husband of 45 years, Clyde Raines Drumheller, Sr., on June 8, 1950. A gifted artist from a young age, her art brought joy to countless families, and her pieces now grace homes across the USA & UK. She is survived by her children, CR Drumheller, Jr. & his wife Valentina, Luette Davis Drumheller Kanas & her husband David, son-in-law, Geary T. Newman, grandchildren Michael J. Williams & his wife Victoria and Kaitlyn Dee Kanas, great-grandchild Estelle Leah Williams, brothers James E. Davis and Thomas E. Davis & his wife Shirley, and many cherished nieces, nephews & cousins. She is reunited with her husband, Clyde, and her daughter, Leah Drumheller Newman; her parents; step-mother, Mary Lou Cox Davis; sisters Emma Lee Davis Hines and Bettie Ruth Davis; sister-in-law, Joyce Farmer Davis. A celebration of Lucile's life will be held in the Spring of 2026. In honor of her memory, her children request memorial donations may be made to The American Legion's Child Welfare Foundation (https://cwf-inc.org/) or Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation (www.komen.org/). Lucile's warmth, creativity, and enduring love for beauty will continue to inspire all who knew her.
