Lucile was my mom Elsa Smith Anderson´s cousin. When my mom passed away in 1997, Lucile met us at the cemetery and helped put my mom´s ashes to rest. She told us some stories of old Hawaii; it was such a comfort to have her there. She was an amazing woman with her travels and helping others. Aloha, Lucile. You made this world a better place; rest in peace.

Lucile was one of my mom´s best friends. She was one of the Posse. We always went out to a movie then dinner at Eagle Cafe.
She had a great appetite and was always keeping busy with serving others. She was a good friend to my mother up until the day my mother passed in June of 2020 (Joyce Kaanapu).
Our deepest condolences to all of her Ohana. We will miss her but know that she is with the Lord

We loved Lucile We enjoyed her trips to Minnesota. Vic particularly liked someone to go the casino with him. On our trips to Honolulu, we were able to enjoy time spent with her while staying in her home. She was an amazing lady and at 100 walking to daily Mass which we were able to join her and meet her church friends We have many great memories. Sympathy to all of you. Mary Ann and Vic

To Lucile's Ohana~
I met Lucile at Haw'n Telephone Co when I was right out of college , working in what they called "The East Business Ofc" in Kaimuki 9th Ave, later to the Pan Am & Gold Bond Buildings.
She was always a gracious lady, kind and soft spoken but full of life & energy even thru retirement. She would look forward to our annual family Christmas photo card & tell me it was the first card she received each year... Rest in Love Lucile!
Prayers & Hugs ,

Grandma, I will miss our regular calls and your loving support. I will miss seeing you if I find myself on the islands again. I have been so blessed to have you in my life for all my years so far. And my adult-kids were blessed to have known you. Every good deed I do, every creative project I make, and every sea turtle I see, will always remind me of you. I carry you in my heart as my journey continues and I can recognize when I see some of you in the things that I do. Even overseas, and our back and forth visits every few years, didn´t lessen how special you were/are to me and my heart will always wish for just one more visit. You wondered sometimes why God was taking so long to call you back, but it seems that he finally decided it was time. I love you forever.
