LUCILLE FOOSUM-VASPER Obituary

LUCILLE ULULANI FOOSUM-VASPER Age 90, of Honolulu, Hi, died on November 1, 2023 in Honolulu. She was born on June 19, 1933 in Wailuku, Maui. Ululani graduated from the University of Hawaii. She worked in the Medical Records Department at Makalapa Clinic and the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and was a parishioner at St. Elizabeth's Church, Aiea. Ululani is preceded in death by husband, Harvey Vasper; son, Craig Vasper and grandson, Zachary Untermeyer. She is survived by son, Buz Vasper (Doreen); daughter, Jocelyn Granier (VJ): grandchildren, Marissa Vasper (Todd), Larissa Vasper (Matt), Alika Vasper (Chella), Malia Woo (Jeff), Brooke Granier; great-grandchildren, AJ and Eli Vasper, Lily and Blake Woo, and Jackson Morgan. Ulu was a very strong, vivacious, loving and devoted wife, mother, Nana Aunty, and friend. She loved the Lord with all her heart and instilled her faith in her children. If you knew Ulu you were truly blessed by her love and generosity. She never knew a stranger and cooked for everyone. Make no mistake she would not hesitate to let one know if she disagreed with you and to make sure you knew it usually in her own loving way. Memorial services are planned for January 10th at St. Elizabeth's church in Aiea. Family visitation from 8:30am to 9:30am; Friends visitation from 9:30am to 11:00am; Catholic Mass will be 11:00AM TO 12:00PM. *The mass is open to parishioners of St., Elizabeth's Church* Prayer by Lily Woo (Great Granddaughter) 10:20AM Eulogy by Jocelyn Granier (Daughter). Inurnment: 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Punchbowl Cemetery, all are welcome to attend.
