Lynn Seth Obituary

LYNN ANN SETH Lynn A. Seth, 88 of Kailua, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026. Born in December in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Lynn followed a spirit of adventure early in life, traveling by herself via ship to Hawaii to attend the University of Hawaii--a journey that would shape the rest of her life. She built her home in the islands, where she raised her two children and cultivated a vibrant and multifaceted career. Among the many hats she wore throughout her life, Lynn served as Vice President of the Holiday Shops at the Hilton Hawaiian Village before pursuing her entrepreneurial spirit and founding her own business Wallpapering by Lynn. Lynn later married John I. Seth, who preceded her in death. Together they shared a life rooted in faith, family, and community. A devoted Catholic, Lynn was an active member of St. Anthony's Church in Kailua. Her faith was reflected in a lifelong commitment to service and kindness towards others--qualities that defined her and left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Lynn lived with energy and passion. A dancer at heart, she carried a love of movement throughout her life and, in her later years, embraced the challenge of becoming a triathlete--an embodiment of her determination and zest for life. She was known for her vibrant personality, her flair for bold, playful fashion, and her signature headbands, which brought joy and color wherever she went. She is survived by her son Gregory Crosby; her daughter Mary Crosby Foti, and son-in-law, John Foti; her grandchildren, Nicholas Foti; Heather Foti Puckette (married to Jeff Puckette), Isabella Crosby, Donovan Crosby, and Katherine and Anna Seth. A private celebration of life will be held for her later in the year after the birth of Lynn's first great grandchild in May. Lynn will be greatly missed.
