Margaret Lau Obituary

MARGARET PEGGY GREGORY LAU Margaret "Peggy" Gregory Lau, 84, died August 28, 2023 at home in Honolulu. An only child, she was born June 7, 1939 to parents Raymond and Margaret Gregory in Amherst, VA. She was awarded a BS in Nursing in 1961 from the University of Virginia, School of Nursing and earned a MPH from the University of Hawaii, School of Public Health in 1966. She worked at St. Francis Hospital, Kuakini Medical Center and Pacific Health Research Institute. She is survived by her loving husband, Lot Lau; her son, Gregory Hoke Rowan (Yoko Okunishi) of Redondo Beach, CA; stepdaughter, Jennifer Lau in Seattle, WA; stepsons, Thomas Lau (Denise) in Bend, OR; and Alexander Lau (Anne) in Kaneohe. Grandchildren are Ava and Sydney Bradbury of Seattle, Isabel and Noah Lau of Bend and Chloe Lau of Kaneohe. Those wishing to make a donation in her memory may consider Navian Hawaii, 860 Iwilei Rd., Honolulu, HI 96817, River of Life Mission, 101 N. Pauahi St., Honolulu, HI 96817, Hawaii Meals on Wheels, 2728 Huapala St., Honolulu, HI 96822, or a charity of one's choice. Her service is on December 9, 2023 1:30 pm at Epiphany Episcopal Church, 1041 10th Ave, Honolulu, HI. Entrance to the church will begin at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements Provided By: Oahu Mortuary
