Aw, I´m sorry to see that he´s left us. My condolences.
Dr. Mathews was my psychiatrist in the early 1990s when I had postpartum depression. Zoloft (and the few SSRIs) was pretty new back then but he knew exactly how to prescribe it and get me quickly back to feeling like myself and to being a good mom. I mention him/his work to this day, working with new moms. He helped our family, and continues to help through what I learned from my experience with him.
