MARY GARCIA Obituary

MARY LOUISE GARCIA It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mary Louise Garcia, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grand- mother. Mary was born in Papaikou, Hilo, Hawaii, and her spirit of aloha touched everyone she met. She is now reunited with her late husband, George Garcia, who preceded her in death in August 2015. Mary's legacy lives on through her devoted family. She is survived by her three children, Loretta Jardine (Ray Jardine), Denise Delenia (Dave Savea), and Jacob Garcia (Avari Garcia). She was a cherished grandmother to five grandchildren: Benjamin Bright, Kanoe Egleston, Darryl Delenia Jr., Lyndsey Garcia, and Valerie Garcia. Her family circle extended even further with her eight great- grandchildren: Kaha Bright, Keahi Bright, Koa Bright, Kaleo Egleston, Anuhea Egleston, Kainoa Egleston, Caleb Delenia, and Future Delenia. A service to celebrate Mary's life will be held on Thursday, October 9th, 2025. Visitation will begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by a service at 5:30 p.m. A private burial will take place on Friday, October 10th, 2025, at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Arrangements are being provided by Borthwick Mortuary.
