MAUREEN SHANNON Obituary

MAUREEN SIOBHAN SHANNON August 6 1958 - January 10 2024 Maureen was born into a large Irish family and celebrated her Irish heritage. Maureen left Baltimore in 1980 and traveled the world venturing nearly every corner of the earth. Maureen called Hawaii home but lived in Guam, Germany, and England only to return home to Hawaii days prior to her passing. Maureen celebrated culture in all her travels but was no happier than her visits to Ireland where she reached out to extended family. Regardless of the destination Maureen documented all her travels with a smile. Maureen identified herself to all her nieces and nephews with a smile and a hug as "Meen Auntie Reen" and will be remembered with that love. Maureen was preceded by her parents Andrew and Margaret Shannon as well as her siblings Sheila, Peggy, Kevin, Daniel, and Diedre. Her remaining siblings Mary, John, Theresa, Francis, Ann, and Padraic mourn her departure but will always hold her love in their lives knowing she departed too early.
