Mercy Spain Obituary

MERCY ANN CRIVELLO SPAIN Mercy Ann Spain (Crivello), born on May 9, 1947, in the charming town of Honomu, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024, at the age of 77. She leaves behind a remarkable legacy of love, strength, and resilience that will be cherished by her family and friends for years to come. Mercy was a devoted wife to C. Jason Spain, with whom she shared 55 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they created a loving family that embodies her nurturing spirit. She is survived by her sons: Kalani (Lisa), Michael (Danielle), Jason (Dawn), Lyle (Megan), and her daughters: Jeri-Lynn, Sheri, Lena (Joe Suzuki), and Donna (Kaipo Pomaikai). Mercy was a cherished Vovo to 26 grandchildren, 25 great-grand- children, and numerous Hanai children, all of whom filled her life with immense joy. She is also survived by her sisters, Elizabeth Teyema and Evelyn Uratani. No services will be held as per Mercy request. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Mercy's memory.

I am so sorry for Mercy's passing. Met while I lived in Waianae when I met Mercy and later Jason who became good friends. Really enjoyed sitting in their kitchen drinking coffee and simply talking story. Would like to know if Jason is still with us???
