MICHAEL KALANI VOELLER Michael Kalani Voeller, aged 62, passed away on July 16, 2024, in Kaneohe, HI. Born on September 4, 1961, Kalani grew up in Kaneohe and was educated at St. Ann's and Damien High School before attending Puget Sound in Washington. Known as a gentle giant with a heart of gold, Kalani was protective and deeply caring towards those he loved. His passion for golf was evident in his career as a superintendent of various golf courses across the Hawaiian Islands and his involvement in international golf course projects. Beyond his professional life, Kalani cherished his time with family, especially his nephews, and pursued hobbies that included ocean activities and embracing the joys of life. Kalani is survived by his sisters, Ramona "Lei" Voeller and Tracy Voeller; brothers, Edwin, Scott, Mark and Patrick; and nephews, Kaena, Travis, Taylor, Maui and Jake. He was preceded in death by his father, Ed Voeller and mother, Mona Ezera Voeller. A service to celebrate Kalani's life will be held on August 13th at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Kaneohe starting at 9:00 AM. Those who knew him will remember a man who lived a full and vibrant life, touching the hearts of many with his loyalty and dedication.
