Mikihala Texeira Obituary

MIKIHALA SUE TEVES TEXEIRA Beloved "Miki" left us on January 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family who held her close as she passed into the gates of Heaven. She's now reunited with her darling husband Paul and her precious granddaughter Whitney, both of whom she dearly missed. Mikihala was a devoted wife, mother, and loyal friend. She was a passionate figure of strength who never waned in her support and love for her family and who soldiered on even when times were tough. Predeceased by her husband Paul Texeira, granddaughter Whitney Thomas, & siblings Nicholas & Russell Teves. Survived by daughter Christine (Ben) Thomas, sister Kathleen Breeden, brother Pia (Tina) Teves, granddaughter Carly (Stone) Needham, grandson Zachery Thomas and nieces and nephews. A Celebration of her Life will be held at the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park Chapel on Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 10am-1pm. Mikihala's family would like to thank her doctors, nurses, aids, the Queen's Medical Center, the Queens Health System, Aloha Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and all the staff for their compassionate care in her final months of life.
