Only met Mrs. Kutsunai once at the Banyan Inn in February 1964 when a friend and I were having dinner and the whole Kutsunai Family were having a celebration at the next table and Mr. Kutsunai came over to greet us.
Andrew Kutsunai, was one of the greatest teachers I ever had. Loved his classes and especially one with only 5 boys and 5 girls called POLITICAL GEOGRAPHY which challenged our young minds.
As a boarder, I knew her father Mr. Richard Haruguchi, Lahainaluna School Office Manager very well. He always greeted me with a big smile and kindness every time I visited the office.
Sincerest condolences to the family - may she rest in peace forever.

I attended Lahainaluna High School in Lahaina, Maui and one of teachers was Mr. Andrew Katsunai. Condolences to the Katsunai family . May God comfort them in their time of need and grief.
