Aunty Lehua was such a beautiful person, so full of life and filled with genuine aloha spirit. It was always a pleasure to meet up with her at Ala Moana, along with her son, Dean, and their faithful pet, Kaipo. I feel honored to have known her during this lifetime- may her loving spirit live on through her `ohana and friends.

Lehua was our friend and inspiration for our group of Pickle-Ball players at Waialae Iki Park. I loved hearing her stories of growing up in Kohala, since my Grampa grew up in Kohala as well. She was our "Grand Lady of Aloha," with her smile, her charm and a real kolohe spirit! It was an honor to celebrate her 98th birthday last September 2023 with the "gang!" How dearly she will be missed.

What a loving sweet woman. Whenever we would meet outside of work, (mostly Kaiser) she would always stop to talk story. She will be missed.
