MITSURU KUNIHIRO Mitsuru Kunihiro, 101, of Honolulu, 442 RCT veteran and retired Insurance Underwriter with Island Insurance Companies, died in Honolulu on June 21, 2023. He was born in Waialua. He is survived by sisters Kimiko Koyanagi and Hanako Takahashi, sons Stephen (Suzanne) and Curtis (Kimberly), three grandchildren, four great- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Private services. In lieu of flowers or koden, donations may be made in memory of Mitsuru and Ellen C. Kunihiro to the Kuakini Foundation at 347 N.
