Myrtle Provencher Obituary

MYRTLE VIOLET MITCHELL PROVENCHER Myrtle Violet Mitchell Provencher, of Honolulu, passed away peacefully at Lunalilo Home on January 27, 2026 at 102 years old. She lived an amazing life, as a wife to the love of her life, Simeon Provencher, who she will finally re-join at a private burial service at the National Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl. She raised her family both in Honolulu and Guam, volunteered at Bishop Museum where she practiced the art of lei hulu, was a member of 'Ahahui Ka'ahumanu Chapter 1, Honolulu for over 3 decades, and most importantly, was a loving mother and grandmother to all of her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Loretta (William) Weekes, son Francis (Paula) Provencher, daughter Cathy (Jerry) Gold, and countless grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was beloved by all who knew her and her legacy of kindness, independence, and aloha will live on through those who were lucky enough to have been loved by her.
