Mrs. Lum was such a wonderful and gracious person. For over 60 years Bill and Nancy Lum were our neighbors and close to my parents, Henry and Lucille Chun up Alewa Heights. When my mother died in 1983, Mr. Lum was weeping at the service. Today, my family is in the Chun house and right next door in the Lum house is Mrs. Lum´s granddaughter, Marni and family. We grew up with Barry, Noni, Scott, and Paul. As kids we stayed overnight at their house a couple of times. This is in the 60s when people didn´t lock their doors at night and left car keys in the ignition. I´ll always remember Mrs. Lum as having a nice smile and positive attitude.
There is a special place in heaven for people like Bill and Nancy Lum.
